Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches (CABC) - an association of Baptist churches in the eastern provinces of Canada.

A Baptist Convention of the Maritime Provinces was founded around 1846. A Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches was formed within 1905-1906 as the United Baptist Convention of the Maritimes by the union of Absolutely free!, or even Free Will, Baptists and Regular Baptists. By using a addition of Newfoundland to Canada in 1949, the title was changed to the United Baptist Convention of the Atlantic Provinces. Numbers of one churches however carry United Baptist in their official title. A Convention joined by owning ii more conventions inside 1944 to form the Canadian Baptist Federation. A big regional union around Canada, inside 2003 a CABC consists of over 62,000 members within 538 churches & Twenty-one associations through the Atlantic provinces (Future Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia & Prince Edward Island). A CABC around subdivided for local association cooperation into 5 regions. Based on data from Article I personally of the Constitution of the Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches, these are "composed of those bodies which have agreed to work together upon the basis of the historic Baptist position that the Bible is the all-sufficient ground of faith and practice".
